ERMoving provides full-service relocations within the United States, tailored to your needs. Services may include:

1. Packing and unpacking of household or office items.
2. Loading, transportation, and unloading using our licensed vehicles.

4. Specialty handling for items like pianos, antiques, or vehicles.

All services are subject to a written quote or contract, which details the scope, timeline, and costs. We reserve the right to refuse service for prohibited items (e.g., hazardous materials, perishables) as per federal regulations.

• Booking and Payment Terms

To secure your move, a non-refundable deposit (typically 20-30% of the estimated cost) is required upon booking. The balance is due upon delivery, unless otherwise agreed.

1. Quotes: Estimates are based on provided inventory and may change if details (e.g., additional items, access issues) alter. Binding quotes are available upon request after an in-home or virtual survey.
2. Payment Methods: We accept credit cards, bank transfers, and checks. Late payments incur a 1.5% monthly fee.
3. Cancellations: Cancellations 14+ days before the move forfeit the deposit. Within 7-13 days, 50% of the total cost is charged; less than 7 days, full payment is required.

• Liability and Insurance

We prioritize the safety of your belongings, but moves involve inherent risks. ERMoving offers:

1. Basic Coverage: Released Value Protection at no extra cost (60 cents per pound per item, per FMCSA guidelines).
2. Enhanced Coverage: Full Value Protection available for purchase, covering repair, replacement, or reimbursement (minus depreciation) for damaged or lost items.

We are not liable for:

1. Items packed by you (unless negligence is proven).
2. High-value items not declared in advance (e.g., jewelry over $500—must be transported personally).
3. Delays due to unforeseen events like weather, traffic, or force majeure.

Clients are encouraged to obtain third-party insurance for valuables. Claims must be filed within 9 months of delivery, with supporting documentation.

• Customer Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth process, you agree to:

1. Provide accurate inventory and access details (e.g., stairs, elevators, parking).
2. Prepare items for transport (e.g., disconnect appliances, secure valuables).
3. Be present or designate a representative during loading and unloading.
4. Comply with state and federal laws, including declaring any restricted items.

Failure to meet these may result in additional fees or service denial.
